LNP Faradex compounds from SABIC Innovative Plastics can help automotive electronic producers improve design and enhance manufacturing productivity. These compounds – with the intrinsic ability to attenuate electromagnetic radiation – support automotive OEMs in meeting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards, offer greater design flexibility than formed metal enclosures and provide productivity and environmental advantages over metalized plastic enclosures. Lighter in weight with better corrosion resistance than metal, LNP Faradex compounds have the right balance of intrinsic shielding, mechanical and physical properties and melt process ability to be used in a variety of on-board electronic subassembly enclosures.

Shielding effectiveness equal or better than typical metalization.
